As budgets continue to shrink interest has increased in one area of project management thinking which is helping to reduce project costs while at the same time maintaining and creating new efficiencies.

Agile or Lean is the collective term for a group of techniques that achieve this by breaking the project scope development into manageable ‘iterations’ ensuring that each functional increment is approved serving to define and fulfill expectations in a more flexible environment.
