Organisational Maturity Review (OMR)

Project Management Maturity Modelling (PMMM) has been an important means of measuring organisational project management capability for many years now with the first significant model being developed by Dr Harold Kerzner (2001).

The challenge of linking organisational strategy to successful project delivery is one faced by even the most progressive of organisations, and there is no "one size fits all" remedy. That's why PM-Partners group has drawn from our years of experience in applying the following standards to develop a world class Organisational Maturity Review (OMR):

  • Organisational AssessmentsOPM3: Organisational Project Management Maturity Model (PMI)
  • P2MM: PRINCE2 Maturity Model (OGC)
  • P3M3: Portfolio, Programme and Project Management Maturity Model (OGC)

The PM-Partners OMR is comprised of six streams:

  • Portfolio and Program Management Infrastructure.
  • Project Management Methodology.
  • Project Governance.
  • Organisational Improvement.
  • Organisational Leadership and Innovation.
  • Knowledge Management.

The benefits of matching against internationally accepted best practice include:

  • Deliver a benchmark for organisational infrastructure and results
  • Set realistic targets for improvement
  • Measure progress towards enhanced capability
  • Strategic Objectives become Business Results
