Methodology Development

PM-Partners can work with you to create a structured methodology, combining accredited, best-practice methods with the uniqueness of your organisation to develop and implement sustainable solutions that will enable you to consistently deliver your goals.

Assess

In the first instance PMPartners can assess your organisation’s project management maturity and/or perform healthchecks on your current projects to determine the effectiveness of your current practice. The output would be a full report outlining strengths, weaknesses and recommendations for development.

Design

A design workshop would then be run involving all key stakeholders to determine an agreed framework that instills proven, consistent processes and gateways but allows for the individual nuances of your organisations’ projects.

Integrate

The framework would then be built from Design to Integrate best-practice processes (such as PMBoK, PRINCE2, ITIL) with your existing tools, templates and systems.

Implement

PMPartners operates a People, Process, Technology approach to implementation. One without the other two will surely lead to failure.  Because of this PMPartners can integrate the new methodology into our own standard training courses as well as develop industry or company-specific case-studies. This provides an environment where the method can be rolled out to staff along with project management theory and can then be applied in the context of real work to maximize its relevance and ultimate effectiveness.

Similarly, from a technology point of view, the new method’s tools and templates can be incorporated into a document management system or a full, purpose-built collaborative project management system such as Microsoft’s Enterprise Project Management suite.
